The instrument is now in use for some two weeks and is performing really well. It's used to test the lead acid batteries of mining cap lamps. The old way was either a photometric test or just watching the lamp on test for several hours. The MBT-LA is a quick and reliable alternative which also indicates a possible failure of a battery well before there's a significant change in the light output and duration. |

Awesome!! I work in theatre where we go through a ton of AA and 9V batteries in our wireless microphones and wireless clearcom beltpacks. At the start of each show, all of them have to have fresh batteries even though the old ones might not be completely dead. It's nice to be able to check the life of the used ones so that they can be used for rehearsals or in other devices. It's a great way to save money and prevent waste! Great product! |

This is a great little battery tester. I researched these a bit and found many strong recommendations in favor of this unit. It is simple to use and will pay for itself since I can test the batteries in my smoke detectors rather than assuming they are low and replacing them once a year. |

I purchased two of these battery testers: one for my father and one for myself. I was not disappointed. A very handy device that is small and very easy to use (for my 89 year old father). I particularly like the feature of putting a two second load on the battery to really measure how well it performs. |

Saves me money! This battery tester has already paid for itself. If a toy (or electronic gadget) is running slow, I remove and test all the batteries. Each time I found that some of the batteries still had 80% life in them, while others we dead. Before I had this tester, I would replace all the batteries. Now I can replace only the dead ones. It is great! |
